The Student Life Division under the Office of Student Affairs aims to assist students in adjusting to college life, and to help students maintain a healthy lifestyle as well as ensuring that the campus is a safe environment, in the spirit of fairness and humanistic education. It hopes to cultivate values such as self-discipline, the ability to discern right from wrong, and the understanding of truth in the youths of FJU. To offer more comprehensive care, the department is divided into two sections, one for students from the day school and one for students from the night school (School of Continuing Education). Students from the School of Continuing Education should direct their queries to the night school section.

1. Organizing major celebrations/ school events: guidance for freshmen, talks for new transfer students, school anniversary, graduation ceremonies
2. Providing scholarships, subsidies for disadvantaged students: school
3. Guiding and caring for students in life and education: conscription, leave of absence, student accommodation off-campus, transport safety and awareness, student group insurance, student conduct and merit/demerit points, school rules, lost and found items, etc.
4. Effective communication, strengthening positive interaction between students and teachers: school feedback, student complaints, etc.
